At Empowered Inner Peace, I provide a safe and supportive space where individuals, couples, and families can feel heard, understood, and empowered in their healing and growth.
My passion has always been to support others. Through my work in social work, I’ve come to believe that even small moments of feeling heard and supported can create meaningful change.
Beginning therapy isn’t easy—it can feel overwhelming. At the same time, it can be one of the most meaningful and rewarding investments you make in yourself.
In our work together, I focus on listening to your thoughts and feelings, offering compassion and empathy, and supporting emotional regulation through tools such as sensory integration. I also collaborate with you to build self-awareness, self-worth, and inner resilience, including helping you expand your window of tolerance—your ability to stay grounded and manage emotions during stressful or overwhelming moments.
My goal is to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families as they work toward healing—both within themselves and in their relationships.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Wayne State University and am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
I have over 11 years of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan.
My approach is integrative and holistic, focusing on the connection between mind, body, and overall well-being. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and work with areas including complex trauma, grief and loss, ADHD, and parts work. I also incorporate yoga-based techniques, window of tolerance work, and play therapy when appropriate.
I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I value cultural sensitivity and have experience supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community.
